We took a quick trip down the road to try our hand at u-pick strawberries. Less than an hour later we had 20lbs of berries. Despite the fact that the boys don't like strawberries they still had fun picking the berries. We might need to make this an annual tradition.

Another spring break with these five crazy cousins in the books.
We did lots of swimming this time since the weather wasn't the warmest.
The best news is none my three didn't need floates this time.
To be continued...

Once again, instead of a big birthday bash, Wilson elected to have a shopping spree at ToysRUs. He was thrilled with all of his new Skylanders he picked. And before we left we checked out the bikes. Chris demonstrated this fat tire bike for us.
And no outing with Will is complete until we visit the pet store. He found the friendliest chameleon. Thankfully, he didn't ask to bring him home. Reptiles are a big no on my list.
*and yes, that is marker all over Ws face. It was part of an activity/field trip at school today.

#8 finally arrived. Wilson, once again, requested to skip having a party with friends and have a shopping date with just us. We agreed. Tonight Mimi and Poppy came over to celebrate with us. And watch him open a few gifts. His fave was the Rubik's cube and a giant box of all the books he had requested recently. (*lucky for him the used bookstore had all the ones he really wanted.) He was so excited to complete a few collections he has started. Happy #8 sweet boy!

And very important to know, Wyatt picked out his outfit from the catalog that came in the mail. He said he wanted it ALL. The suspenders, bowtie and shirt. And since the poor kid gets (mostly) hand-me-downs I forked over the big bucks to make his day. Money well spent!
We had our traditional egg hunt with Mimi and Poppy at lunch time. We stuck with the color coded egg hunt that's been working for years. Only downside is we have a few who like the "tattle" about where someone else's eggs are. But otherwise it works and everyone is happy with their green, blue or pink eggs. No egg hunt with Nana and Papaw this year, we missed out since we headed to the beach after lunch.
