Can get this response from Wyatt. (Well, that’s not true. Motorcycles and Hot Rods get a similar reaction.)
We visited some more trains this week.
Mister Bill lives in our neighborhood, and Poppy is friends with him so we got an invitation to come over and
play with see his train set.
I’m not talking about a single train set. More like hundreds. Three rooms filled with wall-to-wall trains. Hundreds of OLD ones. As in, DO NOT TOUCH kids.
The trio was warned we were looking, not touching. And having a ratio of one adult to one kid helped too. They were on their best behavior.
Even Mister Wilson, who admittedly is not a train lover, was fascinated by the train set up. The bridges and tunnels and buildings sucked him in.
Will’s words were “I don’t like plastic trains, but I like these”. Ella was also intrigued. And we even saw a few pink ones.
But Mister Wyatt was the #1 fan. He had a better reaction to these trains than he did to Thomas last weekend, which is saying alot. And because he was so fascinated by them he only attempted to touch them once or twice.
Our three had a great afternoon. I just hope they don’t get any ideas about turning our basement into a train station.
